Convention staffing FAQs

How far in advance should convention talent be booked?

As soon as your show dates and booth plan are set. Convention weeks fill up, so earlier is easier. Short-notice requests are welcome too: send them and we will tell you plainly what is available.

Can we select talent from the roster?

Yes. Browse the roster and pick the people you want in your request. A request never reserves anyone on its own: we check availability, ask the talent and confirm with you.

Can you staff multiple days or shifts?

Yes. Set up each show day and shift with its own hours and head count, and we staff them together as one team.

What happens if a confirmed model cancels?

We tell you right away and coordinate a replacement, so you are not left chasing talent the morning of the show.

Can talent help with lead capture or product demonstrations?

Yes. Share the scan or demo flow and your talking points in the request, and we match people who are comfortable with that kind of booth work.

Is bilingual talent available?

When available. List the languages you need in your request and we will tell you who on the roster can cover them.

Are travel, parking, badges and wardrobe included?

Only what is written in your confirmed plan is included. Tell us what you will provide, such as badges, parking or attire, and what you need from us, and we spell it out before you confirm.

Can we add event photography, video or UGC?

Yes, as an option. Photo, video and UGC-style content are only included when you choose them, and approved media is organized for you after the event.

How are hours, invoices and payments handled?

Talent clock in and out from their phones. After the event you review the hours and confirm them or ask for changes, and the invoice is built from the hours worked. You can email it or save it from the client app, and your invoice tells you how to pay.

Do you provide staff outside the Convention Center?

Yes. We staff hotels, rooftops, restaurants, nightlife and offsite activations across San Diego.
